The outdoor pool isn’t heated, but the weather is usually still warm enough in September to allow for swimming. It is backed by the BBH block of 175 rooms.

Our ocean front hotel, The Sandcastle, viewed from Ocean Boulevard. The ocean is right there between those two palm trees! We have use of this parking lot and the covered one below street level.

  • Covered and open public parking on two levels
  • Access to all Sea Mist facilities (see below)
  • Oceanfront rooms are $79.00 a night plus a one-time non-refundable pet fee of $50. Price returns to normal rates on September 1, 2017 so make your reservations early.
  • Special pricing will extend three days before and after the event.
  • No additional room or cleaning fees
  • No limit on number of dogs per room
  • Normal room cleaning daily; Do Not Disturb event signs will be provided
  • Free breakfast is not supplied, but the property has several restaurants on site. Dogs are NOT allowed in those areas. Breakfast buffets average $7.50 per person.
  • Each Sandcastle room has a coffeemaker, small refrigerator, and a microwave. Some larger rooms also have a small kitchen and stove.
  • Wireless internet access on Sea Mist property, but not in the Sandcastle. We will have information soon on where that is available.

The entire building is blocked for our event so that we can be sure that only greyhound folks get the rooms. In order to make reservations, all families will need a Group Leader Number that is assigned to them when their BBH registration arrives. That number will be forwarded to each registered family with event confirmation.

Calling without registering first may result in you being given a room that is in the wrong area of the resort, or a room that’s not ‘locked in’. That could mean there is no room available to you when you arrive for check in! None of our staff want that to happen to our guests….register first and the volunteers will make certain you have everything necessary.
